Closet Gamer?
How many of you are closet gamers? (Put your age down if you wish I have a feeling the answers will have an age bias)
A. I tell people freely don’t care who knows
B. I take the do ask don’t tell approach but if asked will tell
C. The question is Mute no one needs to know what I do on my time.
D. I am not even telling you even under cloak of my AVATAR
- mod if you want to make this a poll feel free

This would probably go better in Off-Topic, as it doesn't actually have much to do with GW.
Anyway, I'd go with A. 25 years old, grew up playing video games (literally, my parents got an NES for Christmas just before I turned 3 and I'd play with my dad until I was able to hold a controller on my own), and I've never really hidden the fact that I like gaming.

My best friends know. But i think that 99% of the people that know me don't know that i'm gaming so much.
A year back or so (when i went to college) i was talking with a girl in my class. She was talking about her younger brother, how he was into games n all and he was yelling all these strange internet words like "Noob" etc. She thought it was lame/funny and did not know what the words ment. So i was (fake) laughing aswell. The irony xD As i use internet language a lot

C. The question is Mute no one needs to know what I do on my time.
I'm 30, have been playing since the ages when you pressed the turbo button to slow down the game. I play with my husband, but I work at a bank and have to look all serious and wear boring suits and uncomfortable shoes. I don't think my co-workers would take me seriously if they knew how much time I spend gaming.

D. We adhere to a strict no information policy, only trading in outrageous lies. Even gender is a secret when optional, though that is moot since spider plants don't differentiate.

Maybe a few years ago, it would have been different, but now all demographics play video games.

I'm 43, and my first "real"job was in an arcade when I was 17 after I quit school. My first real multi-player experience was when we got the game Gauntlet in. It was amazing being on the same screen with other people and getting to pick the class of your carachter...and the character customization (one of 4 different colors) was amazing. Video games were cool but I could take them or leave them until that day. From then on I was a gamer, though the term Gamer wasn't around back then.
I've never hidden the fact that I like video games.

A. But I don't just randomly blurt it out as a first impression. If it comes up, its really the only thing I enjoy talking about.
